New music: "Annie B's Boogie"
What better way to start off 2018 than with some new music for your saxophone quartet?
"Annie B's Boogie" is a light-hearted 12-bar blues piece for SATB saxophone quartet. It is a toe-tapper, something that players and audiences can both enjoy.
It was inspired by some of the music I grew up listening to - the first music that introduced me to saxophones was popular music from the 1950s and 1960s, and I have always retained a love for that kind of fun, upbeat music. I also wanted to write something that you could dance to - the titular Annie B is a tapdancer, and this is exactly the kind of music she likes to do routines to.
It is available to buy on SheetMusicPlus and ScoreExchange.
If you liked this music - let me know! I am always happy to hear feedback from other people.
